Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineer (Bilingual English/French) – London - £55,000 + Bonus + Ex.

Key Responsibilities: Compliance Assurance & Audits : Ensure 100% compliance of EMS-supplied parts to company specifications through product and quality system audits, providing detailed reports on findings.
Supplier Quality Management : Act as the primary point of contact for EMS suppliers on quality-related issues, facilitating technical queries and supporting resolutions between suppliers and design and supply chain teams.
Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation : Conduct in-depth audits of EMS manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities; lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 8D, Ishikawa, and 5Ys methodologies; apply risk analysis tools (e.g., PFMEA) to mitigate risks, particularly for new products and change management.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance Monitoring : Propose solutions to enhance quality within EMS manufacturing, ensure compliance with TL9000 and ASN standards, and follow up on corrective actions where necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with internal teams on quality-related challenges, support ASN production on EMS supplier issues, and foster strong working relationships to maintain high quality standards across all interfaces.
Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications Bilingual Communication: Fluent in French and English, with strong reporting and cross-functional communication skills.
Education & Experience: Degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) with experience in EMS, preferably in high-quality sectors like aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
EMS Expertise: Strong EMS background with experience in interpreting technical specifications, supplier management, and conducting audits.
Technical Skills: Proficient in quality tools (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, PFMEA) and supplier compliance auditing to high standards.
Engineering & Problem-Solving: Strong engineering background with the ability to analyse technical issues, drive improvements, and ensure supplier compliance.
Travel Requirement This role involves up to 50% travel (particularly within the first year) to France and Morocco to key suppliers, working directly with teams to drive continuous quality improvement.
