Job Role for the Manufacturing Engineer: Support and co-ordinate engineering activities to ensure production line are met and complied with, whether this be output, quality or NPI Production support PCB testing and fault finding and repair of PCBs.
PCB testing and identifying electronics component tolerance and failure modes.
Implementing manufacturing process controls on all electronic products Continuous improvement of processes Creating and maintaining electronics assessable testing and methods and procedure.
Process simulation of manufacturing process and optimisation of manufacturing process.
PCB design failure analysis and 8D corrective actions.
Supporting NPI programs with the DFMEA, tolerance, design optimisation and value engineering support.
Support supply chain on PCB manufacturing and testing, component specification and finding alternative components to obsolete components.
