Job Description This role is primarily 5 days a week out of our Edinburgh office.
Some flexibility may be offered on a case by case basis.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work alongside and support the production and repair sections.
Working with the NPI team you will introduce new processes to the facility, create any required documentation, source the tooling and fixtures and train the staff.You will monitor and report on various quality KPI`s and lead process improvements.The successful candidate will bring an autonomous mindset, work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment using great attention to detail with speed & control being key.
Basic RequirementsStrong industry experience in an Electronics Manufacturing environmentComing from an Electronics background PCBA & Box Build experience would be highly beneficialExperienced in New Product IntroductionExperienced in optimizing & improving processes with a strong continuous improvement mindsetHave a strong & methodical way of workingBe a strong problem solverAbility to lead a small team, setting daily objectives and monitoring output.IMPORTANT - This role does require security clearance, you are required to be a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years to be eligible for security clearance.Hours - Mon to Thurs 7am to 3.30pm, Fri 7am to 12pm-----------------In return for your expertise, we'll support you in this new challenge with coaching and development every step of the way.
