We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Major Projects team based on the Calvert North Civils HS2 Project in Buckinghamshire.
You'll be responsible controlling all key reporting to the Commercial Manager and for the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities, and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety on a range of contracts.

Location : Twyford Buckinghamshire – this is an office-based role with the ability for agile working Contract : Permanent, Fulltime   What will you be responsible for?
As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage the commercial resources (finance) of the assigned project (or section) to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts and maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers.
Lead all the compilation and reporting of the Application for Payment to the client, CVR and End life Forecast Your day to day will include: Provide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/workstream performance data Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk management Support the authorisation and submission of project variations.
To authorise the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material and plant orders   What are we looking for?
