As Managing Director, you will be at the forefront of the strategic and operational success. Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for shaping the future of the business, building upon its established foundations, and taking them through the next phase of development.
This is a pivotal role requiring a commercially astute professional with the ability to balance financial oversight, operational efficiency and a passion for people. You will lead a skilled team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture, and act as an ambassador for the business with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities Include:
Strategic leadership execution with the continued training and mentoring of high performing teams and cultureDevelopment and implementation of business strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitabilityFull P&L responsibility managing budgets and identify opportunities for investment and cost optimisationOversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and complianceInspire, engage and foster a culture of innovation and accountabilityRepresent the company with passion and authenticity, building strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders to drive revenueStep into operational challenges as needed, demonstrating a willingness to engage at all levelsParkinson Lee Executive Search are keen to speak with people that have the following skills and experience:
Educated to Degree calibre in either business, managing or financeStrong understanding of financial management and the ability to interpret complex dataMinimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Leadership, Director level appointment preferably within gained within a B2B, consumer led, distribution, wholesale and resale environmentProven success in managing people and creating positive, inclusive cultures in the workplaceExceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire trust and confidence in clients, colleagues, and stakeholdersHands on approach and willingness to engage directly with day-to-day challengesA passion for driving excellence and a culture of continuous improvementThis is an excellent opportunity and will suit a dynamic leader, with a proven track record in commercial, financial and operational excellence that might be looking for their first role as Managing Director.
