The Role As Managing Director, you will drive the strategic vision, operational performance, and commercial success of the business.
Reporting to the Board, you will lead a talented team, shape the company's future, and deliver sustainable growth across all channels.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a strategic plan to scale the business and enhance profitability.
• Provide inspirational leadership to foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and innovation.
• Drive multi-channel growth, including e-commerce, retail, and wholesale.
• Ensure operational efficiency and oversee performance across all functions.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, and partners.
The Candidate We are seeking an exceptional, hands on yet strategic leader with:
• A strong marketing background, with multi-channel expertise, ideally gained in the homeware or large-ticket or luxury items sectors.
• A proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within retail, e-commerce, or related industries.
• Demonstrable experience driving growth in a digitally led, customer-focused environment.
• Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable results.
• A collaborative and engaging leadership style, with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
Location
This role is based in Frome, Somerset, with a requirement to be on-site at least three days per week.
