As Managing Director, you will steer the Isle of Man business to achieve its strategic goals while maintaining a strong emphasis on people leadership and delivering consistently high levels of client experience.
More specifically, you will lead the ZEDRA Isle of Man teams to deliver exceptional financial performance through strong people leadership, maintaining sound risk management and operational excellence and delivering first-class client service.
Key Accountabilities Agree overall business strategy with ZEDRA GroupAgree financial targets with ZEDRA Group and drive the business to achieve those targetsEnsure successful implementation of mergers and acquisitionsProactively nurture a positive relationship between ZEDRA Isle of Man, the regulator and other relevant authoritiesNurture a positive compliance culture within the businessLead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.Oversee their team's successful completion of client deliverables and achievement of quarterly targets across the client portfolioManage their team's talent activities (including recruitment, retention, upskilling, career progression) to optimise their team's performanceParticipate in team building initiatives, mentoring and coaching senior team members to take the lead on key initiativesImplement client-focused strategies to enhance the overall client experienceResponsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with clientsEncourage and oversee the gathering of client feedback to continuously improve services and client satisfaction.Support senior management in enhancing relationships with key intermediaries and clientsCollaborate closely with service delivery teams, helping to identify new opportunities for business growth and driving value for the clientKnowledge & Experience Detailed technical knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism and all related financial crime legislation, codes and regulatory guidance as well as industry best practice is essential.An excellent working knowledge of funds and investment services businesses, local trust and company laws and regulation is essential.Extensive wealth planning, corporate and fund services experience with significant expertise in technical company and fiduciary matters.Proven track record of managing an office and dealing with high net worth individuals and their advisors.Client centric approach – commitment to understanding and meeting client needsLeadership: proven track record of leading teams and driving organisational success
