Primary Responsibilities Deliver high quality customer-focused proposals and budgets for new business opportunities within a given timeframe Evaluate and understand client requirements for incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFI) Manage and oversee the strategy development, preparation, review and submission of proposals and budgets for new business opportunities within given timeframe Ensure that the appropriate personnel including Senior Management, Operations and Business Development are involved as required throughout the proposal generation process, ensuring approval is gained in a timely manner and issues are escalated accordingly Attend bid defense and other client meetings as a support role as required Ensure a smooth transition of awarded proposals to the Contracts team (if different), which may include budget revisions/negotiations to text and budgets for newly awarded projects.
Draft commercial contracts (statements of work, change orders, addenda, non-disclosure agreements, and the like) using Qinecsa's standard templates.
With guidance from the legal department, negotiate key commercial contract terms, identify and escalate issues as needed to various internal stakeholders (finance, operations, legal, senior management).
Train and mentor more junior team members, as required Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working instructions Contribute to the development of processes and tools to improve the accuracy and quality of proposals and contracts Support the contract management processes, including template development, documentation of contract template and revision approvals, signature process, status tracking and reporting, filing, and archiving of original agreements.
Update the sales tracking database and save all final documents on the Business development portal.
Assist with continuous departmental process improvements and participate in special projects periodically assigned, in addition to day-to-day duties Qualifications Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Life sciences, Business Management, Law or Finance Experience Previous experience in proposals or contracts management is essential (minimum 3 years).
Knowledge of the CRO industry, preferably of the Pharmacovigilance industry.
Knowledge of pharmacovigilance service and/or pharmacovigilance technology solutions is desirable.
Additional Skills Fluency in English and excellent written English skills are essential Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
Self-starter and able to function in a high-paced, dynamic environment Must be able to work independently, be highly motivated and a strong team player Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude Strong analytical skills for understanding costing models including industry cost drivers and budget algorithms Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability and willingness to travel at least 10% of the time We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a collaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growth and development.
