Job scope:The Proposal and Estimations Manager is a critical role within the APAC (Australia, Pacific, Asia, China) services business unit.
The role leads a team of dedicated and talented individuals across the region who are tasked with managing and delivering high quality estimates and proposals that are integral to the success of FLSmidth's spare parts, consumables and upgrades offerings.Your responsibilities: Lead the APAC Proposal and Estimating team in the management of proposals for the geographical area, inclusive of India, Australia, China, and South-East Asia and Northern Asian Regions.
Coordinate with Regional Sales personnel and global Proposal teams in the identification, assessment, and qualification of sales opportunities.Assign EMH Team resources to provide oversight and review of ETO proposals and supporting documents to ensure all proposals are aligned with global standards.Ensure all submittals are completed within the agreed timeframe and according to agreed bidding strategies.Liaise with the Regional and Global Service Line teams and Project Execution teams to identify the Project Execution Plan and ensure that key elements are included in the proposal.Coordinate with other FLSmidth regional and global support groups to ensure the APAC Proposal and Estimating Team is properly supported.Effectively manage the proposal workflow and prioritize tasks when demand exceeds available resources.
Maintain a system to track proposal Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including DIFOT and accuracy and following QA plans for the relevant processesParticipate in Sales Hand-Over meetings as required.
