The New Product Development Team is a key team within the International Card Services Centre of Excellence. Weareresponsible forthe development and delivery of a suite of solutions for all segments across the globe from ConsumersandSmall Business toLarge Corporations. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can translate customer needs into best-in-class solutions and executable plans and drive delivery,across multiple teams, to bringto market.
How will you make an impact in this role?

The successful candidate will engage optimally at all levels and acrossnumerousfunctionsto deliverkey workstreams within the MARS migrationprogramme. Thisprogramme, with enterprise fundingofcirca $200M, is committed to migrate from today's multiple AccountReceivablesplatforms to MARS over the next 5 years, removing current operational risk andbusiness growthconstraints. In partnership withtheGlobal AR Platformteams,ICSCoE,Product andCountryteams, this role will:
Drive market/product & capability simplificationtodetermineMARS build scope by market:Identify,analyseandrationalisethecurrent and future market product & capability landscape,includingthosedeemednon-compliant or operationally risky, and align incremental MARS build needs.
Partner with Global ARand country teamstodeliverandvalidaterequired incremental marketcapability buildon MARS, ensuringdue diligence to ensurethe build is essential.
Partner with Global AR and country teams to define market migration criteria, validation and approval needs and drive market migration delivery.
With countryand productteams, manage product and process changes for our customers:Assess customer change impacts and manageany changeincluding product sunsetting, T&C changes etc. as needed.
Ensure Amex policyadherence: Partner with Ops Excellenceto scale AEMP54for the migrationprogramme.
Ensure adherence totheProgrammegovernance frameworkincludingrobustdelivery to milestone dates,proactive identification andmanagement of issues and risks,status reporting,stakeholdermanagement andcommunications.
Ensureprogrammetraceability viadocumentation andknowledgemanagementtofacilitatestreamlined onboarding of new stakeholders.
Identifyany gaps in proposed execution approach, recommend alternatives, highlight, and align with key partners.
Evolveor Contributeto thescalable market migration playbook, including scope and sign-off criteria, tofacilitaterepeatable, multi-country migrations.

Minimum Qualifications
Collaboration & Relationship Skills – strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills. Proven track recordof positively collaborating with and influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment to achieve outcomes without direct responsibility.
Excellent Communications Skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form to different audiences with varying backgrounds.
Proven ability to get results, work well with and influencedifferent levelsof theorganisationand with customers and partners.
Proventrack recordof delivery in a matrix environment, dealing with multiple collaborators, ensuringproject governance andstakeholdermanagement.
Personal Excellence – High degree of integrity, comfortable speaking up for what is right as well as reporting/raising risks and concerns.
Strong Analytical Skills – ability to collect and analyseinformation for problem solving and definition of potential solutions.
Comfortable challenging the status quo to drive alternate solutions and testing new ideasto meet customer needs.
Learns from mistakes and setbacks demonstratingresilience.
High Energy/Flexibility – Must be a highly motivated self-starter, flexible with working hours to accommodate multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience of delivering via the SAFE Agile methodologywith AmexTechnology teamswill beadvantageous.
Experienced manager with knowledge of American Express products and business operations will beadvantageous.
Understanding of Amex platforms and their integrations with an understanding of how APIs work.
