OPEN TO CANDIDATES IN ALL EUROPEAN COUNTRIES The Manager, Commercial– EMEA leads the marketing and selling of UATP's AFP solutions to the existing UATP Merchants and new prospects in the EMEA region.
This position participates in strategic global partnership initiatives with new and emerging forms of payment.
This fully remote position is based in Europe and reports to the Managing Director, Commercial – EMEIA.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the marketing and selling of UATP's AFP solutions to existing Merchants and recruit new prospects for AFP programs.
This includes analyzing payment and market share data, developing proposals, designing solutions, quantifying value, demonstrating product capabilities, negotiating, and closing deals.
Participate in strategic global partnership initiatives with new and emerging forms of payment.
Establish and maintain positive, respectful, and productive relationships with individuals inside and outside UATP, including key individuals and decision makers within assigned strategic accounts.
Professionally represent UATP at meetings, conferences, and industry events to include preparing and delivering presentations, participating in discussion panels, and promoting UATP as the world's trusted payment platform.
Attend and participate in mandatory virtual and in-person meetings and events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS At least five (5) years of sales experience that included all stages of the sales cycle and at least five (5) years of experience in project management and business case development.
This experience must be in the global credit/charge card, travel, hospitality and/or airline industry.
Experience in developing alternative payment methods adhesion.
Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired.
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Portuguese, German, French is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability and willingness to work in a highly collaborative, cross functional, and remote team, in a home-based environment.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
Trips may be overnight, week-long, and weekends.
Reside in Europe.
