Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £37,000 - £40,000 | 6-month FTC | Manchester | Hybrid:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team for a 6 month FTC.

Duties: Responsible for monitoring revenue and capital budgets Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background Understand guidelines and regulations for financial reporting Managing numerous cost centres within the organisation Managing and allocating government grants Experience: Previous experience working in the wider public sector as a Management Accountant or a similar position Strong experience managing government grants and liaising with project managers Experience managing multiple cost centres and has the ability to work self sufficiently Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
