As a Management Accountant for Finance you will provide management accounting support to portfolio directorates and budget holders, and promote management's compliance with financial procedures and guidelines.
Your role will include:providing management accounting support, and monitoring and evaluating financial efficiency of specific sectors of SEPA's business, providing a business partner approach and seeking continuous improvementsensuring compliance with approved financial procedures and guidelinesmonitoring SEPA's annual Revenue and Capital budget and three year financial strategy to agreed timescales of corporate plan, preparing periodic portfolio financial monitoring reports against budget and plan, and presenting these to portfolio management teampreparing monthly adjustments and assist with year end accounting procedures such as accruals and prepaymentsYou will be a qualified CCAB accountant with several years professional experience in financial reporting and budget monitoring.You should have experience of regular and effective interaction with budget holders and management at all levels, at varying degrees of complexity from conveying simple procedural information and advice up to sensitive and strategic information required to inform corporate discussion and decision making.You should have strong technical skills in Excel, Word and Various Financial Reporting Systems with good communication skills through reporting and verbally and in writing.Support that goes beyond the workplaceWe're cultivating a workplace that supports not only your passion and your professional lives, but your personal life.
