Management Accountant

Management Accountant Based in Thirsk, Yorkshire £50,000 - £60,000 base Hybrid working Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a manufacturing business based in Thirsk, Yorkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to take on a key role in managing and delivering accurate management accounts for the business.
You will work alongside three other management accountants and report directly into the Head of Management Accounting.

The role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in ensuring the timely and precise completion of month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation, while driving continuous improvements in financial processes and systems.

In this role, you will collaborate with site business partners to ensure financial results align with operational performance.
Your responsibilities will include supporting external audit deliverables, preparing year-end disclosure packs, and helping drive automation within the general ledger and management accounts function.
Additionally, you will be tasked with capital accounting and reporting, tracking performance against budgets and forecasts, and assisting the wider finance team with management accounts information for their respective roles.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong technical skills and proficiency in Excel.
While experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable, it is not essential.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive problem-solving attitude are key to success in this role.
