A global philanthropic foundation dedicated to advancing gender equality is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to support its growing Finance Team.
This is a newly created role where you will manage the global consolidation of financial activities across the foundation's programmatic regions and functions.
The role involves overseeing month-end reconciliations, preparing statutory accounts, monitoring cash flow, and providing financial reporting and analysis.

This is a hybrid role, with three days per week required from the Central London offices.
The Management Accountant will be responsible fo r: Producing and maintaining accurate accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and Charities SORP.
Preparing journal entries, schedules, and supporting documentation for year-end close and statutory audits.
Reviewing and tracking global spending against budgets with budget holders, identifying variances in a timely manner.
Supporting the preparation of global financial updates for the board and leadership team, including detailed income, expenditure, and funding analyses.
Managing month-end reconciliations, ensuring global accuracy and timely consolidation.
Contributing to developing financial policies and procedures to support decision-making.
Monitoring financial systems, processes, and compliance, proposing improvements as necessary.
Collaborating on financial planning cycles, including annual budgets and reforecasting processes.
Supporting incoming contributions, audit preparation, and statutory submissions.
The ideal Management Accountant will: Be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or studying towards a qualification with extensive Management Accounting experience.
Have experience working within and a passion for the charity sector and global humanitarian issues.
Be a problem solver: experienced in improving systems and processes and working with ambiguity.
Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with colleagues within and outside of finance.
