Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive Management Accountant to join our dynamic dealerships based in Redhill and Gatwick (BMW & MINI).
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller (FC) and Head of Business (HoB) , this role will be pivotal in providing accurate and timely Management Accounts to assist Department Managers in making informed commercial decisions.

Basic Salary : £64,250/ on target earnings of £70,000 including company performance related bonus Benefits : Company Car & private healthcare Site Expectations : Regular visits to both the Gatwick and Redhill sites once a week Hours : 37.50 hours per week Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled Advisory: Advise Departmental Managers on financial performance, margins, costs, and overheads, comparing actual results to the budget Commentary: Provide commentary on the management accounts and support non-financial managers in understanding the accounts Submissions: Submit monthly accounts information to BMW Budgeting: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for various departments within the dealership Forecasting: Provide financial forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning.
Cost Control: Analyse and control operational costs to maximise profitability Performance Analysis: Conduct financial performance analysis, highlighting key metrics and trends Cash Cycle: Support the Financial controller to ensure an optimum cash operating cycle by careful control of creditors, debtors, and stock Collaboration: Work closely with department managers to provide financial insights and support Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to processes and practices where possible Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in the motor trade Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, ideally within the automotive industry Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
