Management Accountant

MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Management Accountant to join a well-established and heavily respected organisation, based in Colchester.
As a Management Accountan t you will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts and business partnering with managers across the organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts Work with budget holders to produce meaningful narrative and understand opportunities and risks within the organisation Oversee and sign off payment runs and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments Prepare a monthly cash flow Prepare month-end journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations Support with reporting and analysis for grant applications Provide support, advice and guidance to the wider staff team to ensure effective and confident engagement with financial policies, processes, and internal control systems Participate in the preparation of the organisation's annual financial statements Assist the auditors with audit queries Other duties / ad-hoc support where required Key Skills & Attributes: Accounting qualification (AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified) Strong analytical and Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.
