As our new Management Accountant in Colchester, you will play a crucial role in the finance department, providing support in financial and accounting activities and reporting functions within the organisation.
You will focus on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining financial records, controlling the accounts, and complying with regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing: Prepare monthly management accounts including revenue and cost of goods sold, margin and operational cost analysis Prepare HFM reports including reconciliations to underlying ERP accounts Work on resolving queries to reduce variances with internal and external stakeholders Monitoring shared service output Work with the shared service centre to reduce debt with internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and stakeholders to prepare and analyse financial statements / data, ensuring transparency, risk mitigation, and financial efficiency for the organisation.
