Were seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team on a fixed-term contract, supporting the financial performance of two key Business Units within our organisation.As a Management Accountant, you will play a vital role within ourfinance team, delivering impactful financial analysis, supporting decision-making, and enhancing the performance of the business units.

Join us in making a positive difference in communities.This roles offers hybrid working between Homeworking and County Hall, Chelmsford.This role is a Fixed-Term position until July 2025, andrequires a driving license and access to a car for work purposes Main duties of the job Provide proactive and reactive financial analysis to support business performance.
Improve and standardise financial reporting across the organisation.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis for key stakeholders.
Support monthly service and business unit performance reviews.
Manage and monitor workforce spend against budget.
Act as the main financial contact for operational teams, with regular site visits.
Assist Group Finance with accurate and timely financial reporting.
Coach non-financial staff on understanding financial results.
Maintain procedural notes for cross-team support.
