We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant/Finance Analyst to join them on a Fixed Term basis for a year, maybe longer.
Reporting into the Finance Business Partner of the organisation the main duties of the role will be in supporting the FBP to achieve the objectives of the business and to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.You will be responsible for issuing weekly and monthly production KPI reports while measuring and reporting of all labour metrics to ensure direct labour costs to the business are minimised.
The successful candidate will also control overhead expenditure for the cost centres, including approval of spend, trend /variance analysis and forecasting/budgeting.Main responsibilities/job accountabilitiesResponsible for the preparation and review of operational overheadsPurchase order approval to ensure accurate nominal ledger codingMonth end cost centre reports to be completed in line with month end timetable and reviewed with the FBPResponsible for budget and forecasting processes for all production cost centres and direct labourMaintain and analyse labour KPI's to drive business improvement efficiencies, labour rates, overtime, non-productive hours analysisDistribute weekly / monthly labour metrics and review with productionResponsible for the completion of the weekly dashboard for reviewMaintain accurate fixed asset register in terms of additions, disposals, asset commissioning and de-commissioningCarry out Ad-hoc tasks required to support the businessProvide holiday and sickness cover for Finance team membersThe ideal candidate will be ACCA / CIMA part qualified or qualified but strong QBEs will also be considered.
You will possess a good understanding of financial processes, and be able to analyse and interpret data whilst carrying out continuous improvement.You will have prior knowledge of some of the following if possible - Fixed Assets, Labour reporting, budgeting and forecasting and will be a good team player who is able to communicate well at all levels.
