Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: We are recruiting for Male Support Workers to support a gentleman who lives in his own home in the Crookston area of Glasgow.
We are seeking an experienced individual who is confident in their abilities and has previously supported individuals with autism and challenging behaviour.
You must hold a UK driving licence for this role.We support this gentleman to live the best life possible by providing support with whatever he needs.
He does struggle with change, so routine and structure are very important.
He is very active in his community and loves going out for walks in the park, going out in the car and enjoying home cooked meals, though he requires support to make healthy meal choices.
Your main goal will be to provide the right support so he can be as independent as possible and is supported to make his own choices.
We are currently recruiting for a 24-hour day post and bank Support Workers.
Our roles require flexibility to work various days throughout the week and the shifts are for 12 hours each.
Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them.
For this service, a male colleague is required.
