Maintenance Technician

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a world wide Food Manufacturing business near Stockport which are on the lookout for an Maintenance Engineering Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate has FMCG experience and is Multi Skilled.
Roles + Responsibilities * Conduct Planned Maintenance – Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance of all production machinery.
* Troubleshoot Equipment Issues – Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues quickly to minimise disruption to production lines.
* Implement Process Improvements – Work with the engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and make adjustments to equipment and processes.
* Ensure Health & Safety Compliance – Adhere to company and regulatory safety standards, performing risk assessments and ensuring safe operation of machinery.
* Support Production Operations – Collaborate with production staff to ensure equipment readiness and assist with setup and configuration for various products.
* Document and Report Maintenance Activities – Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, updating the maintenance management system as needed to ensure clear communication and regulatory compliance.
