BOC Limited, a Linde company Maintenance Technician Morden, United Kingdom | req16977 What you will enjoy doing As a member of the Morden Maintenance team, you will be maintaining equipment in a manufacturing facility that produces high quality gas cylinders to our customers who use our products for food preparation, pharmaceutical, universities and many other industries This is a hands on position, where you will be expected to maintain all plant and equipment, in adherence with all operating and safety procedures You will install, commission and maintain all plant and equipment on the cylinder filling site In addition, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic individual to join our team, who is competent across tasks relating to electrical and instrumentation maintenance You will be required to follow our operating procedures diligently and the right person will understand our requirements to follow our safety, health, quality and environmental standards And lastly, you will work closely with production, maintenance, engineering and contractors to plan and execute all planned, preventative and defect maintenance Aactivities What makes you great You are energetic, self-motivated and disciplined If you have a level 4 Apprenticeship (or equivalent trade experience) in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering You have ATEX qualified and comfortable working in atmosphere explosibles environments Experience of operating in a manufacturing, engineering or scientific environment is preferable Furthermore, your approach is systematic and logical As a team player, you possess great communication skills as well as a good command of English And lastly, experience of MS Office Programs and SAP would be beneficial Why you will love working with us We are the largest provider of industrial, medical and special gases in the UK and Ireland.
