Maintenance Engineer Salary: £50,000 Shift Pattern: Panama Shifts (Days and Nights) Location: Hereford Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced FMCG environment?

About the Role As a Maintenance Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by performing both reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment.
Working on a Panama shift pattern, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports a 24/7 operation in a fast-moving and high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform reactive maintenance to address breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery runs efficiently and reliably.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related faults.
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and productivity.
Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure seamless operation.
What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG, manufacturing, or similar environment.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent).
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Flexibility: Willingness to work Panama shifts, covering days and nights.
Team Player: Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
