Job Description As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will be maintaining the site including Extrusion and Thermoforming machines effectively, to the required optimum operating standards to ensure minimal downtime You will be able to respond to machine breakdowns quickly and efficiently As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will diagnose and effectively deal with the problems as they arise You will be support the engineering planned maintenance program with the continual improvement process you will be able to prioritise your workload in line with engineering guidelines and business requirements As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will liaise effectively with engineering stores to maintain stock levels of parts, to ensure key equipment can be continually maintained You will be able to work as a team and on your own to support projects when required Qualifications You will be a multiskilled engineer with good electrical/mechanical background.  You will be qualified in the latest regulations (completed an apprenticeship or formal City & Guilds qualification) As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will be able to diagnose issues, understand the root cause and implement corrective action when required You will have knowledge of PLC's, control panel experience & ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams You will be able to work on your own initiative and be a problem solver As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will have excellent communication skills that are paramount to be able to understand and communicate effectively with other employees and work effectively within your team & department Team Leaders/ Managers You will have relevant IT skills, good physical fitness and good attention to detail Additional Information Working at Faerch means working in an innovative and open-minded company that increases the commitment and motivation of all employees.
