What you'll be doing Reporting into the Engineering Manager and supported by the Supervisor, this role is vital in ensuring that the hotel facilities and equipment are in good working order for guests and colleagues.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of an experienced team to respond and attend to a wide range of repair requests and preventative maintenance from electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing and general building maintenance.
With an eye for detail you will troubleshoot and test systems in order to ensure that our guests needs are met, while following all health and safety protocols.
Although previous maintenance experience is desired, if you have strong DIY skills, have experience in various trades or have recently completed an apprenticeship, we would like to hear from you.
We strongly believe in training and development, whatever your previous experience, the right support will be provided for you to succeed.
What we're looking for Previous maintenance experience is a big plus but strong DIY or trade experience is required Great communication skills and teamwork-oriented Positive outlook This is a full time role (40 hours per week) working a variety of shifts including early evening and weekends.
The salary is approximately £27,000 per annum (hourly paid) not including call out fees paid for Duty Engineer shifts.
