Maintenance Scheduler - Housing

We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to work in our reactiverepairs team.
Main Responsibilities: Running daily schedules for team of 5-6 trade Operatives (electricians, plumbers, etc) Continually liaising with trade Operatives, tenants and clients (local authority or housing association) by phone, email and live chat regarding updates on repairs Arranging parts or materials for click/collect where not available from usual suppliers Logging multiple engineer work requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion Skills / Experience for this role: Excellent communication and listening skills Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment Excellent resource planning and administration skills The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role scheduling routes and issuing jobs to engineers Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within.

We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.
Gilmartins has moved to the Woodside Estate in Houghton Regis (Houghton Hall Park) to a modern, well equipped office with great facilities.

Hours of work are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
There is a requirement by rota to stay until 6pm once a month and to work 1 Saturday or 1 Sunday in 4 which is paid extra to salary.
