MERITUS are recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join our client on an initial contract for 15 - 18 months into 2026.
PLEASE NOTE: THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO UNDERGOING SC CLEARANCE AND THE ROLE IS FULLY ONSITE MAINTENANCE PLANNER - INSIDE IR35 - £25.44 PER HOUR (VIA UMBRELLA) - 15 MONTHS - SHAWBURY - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS We are seeking a Maintenance Planning Coordinator to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company procedures, maintaining the airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.
The role involves coordinating with various departments, managing maintenance schedules, and overseeing the documentation process to guarantee smooth operations and timely aircraft maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Compliance Assurance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and company procedures to maintain compliance and ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with Operations Controllers, Technical Records, and the Maintenance Team to align on capabilities and capacity requirements.
Data Entry: Accurately input Technical Log utilization data into the maintenance management system.
Aircraft Status Monitoring: Conduct weekly reviews of aircraft status reports to ensure full compliance with the maintenance program.
Maintenance Scheduling: Determine provisional maintenance dates based on projected aircraft usage and update the planning calendar accordingly.
Material Planning: Evaluate material needs for scheduled maintenance and create purchase requisitions or reservations for any missing items.
Work Order Creation: Generate maintenance orders for scheduled aircraft servicing.
Work Package Review: Assess work specifications and maintenance packages to minimize aircraft downtime during service.
Inventory Confirmation: Verify that all necessary materials are available for upcoming scheduled maintenance tasks.
Documentation Support: Ensure all planning documentation supports scheduled maintenance needs effectively.
Task Resetting: Update and reset maintenance tasks within the Management Information System (MIS).
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the management team to support maintenance operations.
Required Knowledge and Skills: Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of EASA Part M and Part 145 regulations related to aircraft airworthiness and maintenance.
Software Proficiency: Experienced in using SAP and ERP systems for managing technical records, planning, and maintenance activities.
Computer Literacy: High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
