You will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment.
You will also be equally responsible for maintaining our building and general facilities.
As part of a dynamic team, you will ensure our production processes run efficiently and safely at all times.
As Maintenance Engineer at Aldermans, your responsibilities will include: Conducting routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to reduce downtime.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Performing repairs and replacements on worn or faulty components.
Working closely with the production team to address issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintaining detailed and accurate maintenance records.
Recommending improvements and modifications to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Responding to emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
Managing all service contracts and 3rd party engineers working onsite to ensure safety compliance.
Keeping concise records of all compliance and safety checks for the business.
At Aldermans, were looking for a Maintenance Engineer with: Proven experience in the role, preferably within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
A proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach.
Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications (e.g.
18th Edition, HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
This is a day shift position, with working hours from 07:00-15:30, Monday-Thursday, and 07:00-14:30 on Fridays.
