Maintenance Engineer About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical skill set to join our clients fast-paced engineering team.
In this role, as the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for conducting Electrical preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment and automated systems.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be an integral part of our engineering department, working to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production facilities.
This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment, including motors, drives, control panels, and automated systemsRespond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues in a timely mannerIdentify and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and processesMaintain detailed records of all maintenance activitiesEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsWork collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise downtimeRequirements for the Maintenance Engineer: Time-served electrical maintenance experience or an electrical engineering apprenticeshipFormal qualifications in electrical engineering or a relevant disciplineStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentationExperience working in a fast-paced, industrial environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProactive and detail-oriented approach to workBenefits: Competitive salary of £47,500 per annumMonday to Thursday: 7am - 4pm, Friday: 7am - 1pmCompany pension scheme25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysOngoing training and development opportunitiesPrivate HealthcareOn Call If you have the necessary skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you.
