If so, this may be the opportunity for you… The responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer are as follows: Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will lead the evolution from reactive to proactive maintenance scheduling Capture all evidence of machine downtime, machine failures, or bottlenecks in production Building robust maintenance schedules to ensure all material, spares and repairs are available to swiftly resolve any machine issues Developing maintenance activity and scheduling into PPM / TPM frameworks to optimize production output Work closely with manufacturing engineering, project management and the operations team to commission and install new equipment Work collaboratively with all other members of the maintenance department to optimize the performance of the existing and new facility The experience required for the Maintenance Engineer position is as follows: HNC qualified, apprentice trained or equivalent experience Mechanically biased maintenance experience Demonstrable background in driving maintenance best practice / continuous improvement and evolving from reactive to preventative scheduling Experience using MATCON or other mixing machines would be highly desirable Proactive attitude with excellent communication skills The successful Maintenance Engineer will be offered the opportunity to join a well-established, rapidly growing organisation that is looking to drive the business forward.
