For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering £25- £27 per hour DOE Working Sunday's & Monday's 6PM-6AM Temporary contract, initially a few months work Free Parking The Role - Maintenance Engineer Carry out Planned and Preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
To diagnose faults and to test, repair and maintain Mechanical /Electrical equipment Carry out autonomous breakdown tasks and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly, recording work carried out in appropriate documentation / data base (CMMS).
To interpret and implement technical service instruction data relating to machinery and equipment.
Reduce production waste.
Any other duties as per business needs What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer Previous experience in a similar role in a maintenance environment - ESSENTIAL Mechanically biased- ESSENTIAL Must be able to attend an induction this week and start on Sunday the 24th of November- ESSENTIAL Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or ONC / HNC Or equivalent in either Mechanical or electrical disciplines or Degree trained- ESSENTIAL Previous experience within the food manufacturing or food packaging industry - DESIRED Due to the location of the site you MUST have your own transport.
