Maintenance Engineer

Join our client's expert engineering team, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our distilleries operate efficiently and safely.

Your Role: Serve as the main engineering contact across two distilleries, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Execute detailed Planned Preventative Maintenance and react swiftly to breakdowns.
Drive Lean Manufacturing practices (EHS, 5S, Visual Management, Autonomous Maintenance).
Manage contractors and enforce strict Permit to Work systems and safety standards.
Analyze performance issues, proposing and implementing sustainable improvements.
Maintain safety-critical records and use SAP for spare parts management.
Lead or support small project initiatives, including plant shutdowns and continuous improvement tasks.
What You Bring: Qualifications: HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and a recognized apprenticeship.
Skills: Knowledge of industrial controls, PLCs, SCADA, three-phase motors, and hazardous installations (CompEx preferred).
Experience: Familiarity with Lean methodologies, excellent problem-solving, and project management skills.
IT Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and maintenance software.
