Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailers automated distribution centre in Derbyshire.
This role will suit Maintenance Engineer's located in Burton on Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth or South Derbyshire.
Shift pattern provides 7 full days off every 28 days !
The facility is 30 metres in height and over 600,000 sq ft with extensive loading areas and substantial automated systems for you to work on.
Salary of c£44k + Healthcare + Pension Continental shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (1 full week off every 28 days!)
Day to day activities of a Maintenance Engineer include : Reactive maintenance Planned maintenance Electro-mechanical engineering Controls fault finding Problem analysis and continuous improvement Looking for multi skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, ideally with an understanding of PLC's.
Requirements of Maintenance Engineer: Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7 Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential Happy to work a continental shift pattern with days and nights.
