Shift Pattern: 24/7 or Panama shift pattern (12 hr shifts) day and night shifts Salary: £50,000 Some of the benefits you can expect to receive: Bonus scheme Medicash Health cash plan Private Healthcare (dependent on Grade) up to 7% of salary) which also includes life assurance and income protection 25 days holiday The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer - with Electrical Bias to join my clients friendly team at their site based in Leicestershire.
You'll be an integral member of the Engineering function providing a comprehensive electrical, mechanical and maintenance engineering service to safely sustain and improve production operating efficiencies in line with the continued growth of the business.
As a Multi- Skilled Engineer your responsibilities will include: Repairing and maintaining production and ancillary equipment, property and facilities ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and in line with the requirements of the production process and plan Creating PPM schedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing data entry records within appropriate timescales Acting as host for Contractors working on site ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and completed and that safe working practices are agreed prior to commencement of work Responding to requests from production and Maintenance Leads for engineering assistance, monitoring visual management boards to ensure priority items are dealt with Working with the production teams to improve their capability and knowledge of the equipment Ability to quickly identify problems, perform root cause analysis to stop repeat failures Following policies and procedures in conjunction with the food quality management system and retailer-specific technical standards
