Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This is a busy role with a progressive, forward-thinking business.
Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the maintenance of the site.
Carry out regular preventative maintenance checks and record same on computerised system.
Carry out necessary repairs and servicing of reach trucks and pallet trucks- any major repairs undertaken by outside contractors.
Carry out necessary repairs to the fabric of the building.
Work closely with the management team and provide regular reports on the repairs.
Complete all necessary records in relation to duties carried out.
To carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested.
Essential Criteria Qualified in a mechanical or relevant discipline (City & Guilds, BTEC or Degree) Three years previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer role, where you have demonstrated a desire and ability to know the detailed workings of your environment.
Willing to build knowledge base above and beyond core experience.
Ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships at all levels.
Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
Being flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the business.
