Shift based 12 hours shifts on a pattern of 4 on 4 off 6 on 4 off 4 on 6 off alternating between 6-6 shifts and 9-9 shifts Salary : £35,000-£40,0000 dependant on experience + shift allowance About the Role Our client, a prominent facilities management company, seeks a skilled Building Services Engineer with an Electrical Bias (Maintenance Electrician) to join their team at working at a site in West Thurrock.
The role requires a customer-focused engineer to perform scheduled maintenance, monitor energy consumption, and uphold engineering standards to maximize system reliability.
Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Ensure the operational effectiveness and reliability of plant and associated systems.
Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain site documentation.
Respond to emergency call-outs on a rota basis to ensure continuity of operations.
Support the maintenance team, operating access machines (training provided) and maintaining all tools in good condition.
Requirements Qualifications : NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition certification.
Experience : Minimum of three years in a similar maintenance role, ideally with team leadership experience.
Skills : Strong customer care skills, a team-oriented approach, and familiarity with health and safety protocols (IOSH Safety Passport preferred).
