About the Role As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Swiftly responding to plant breakdowns, efficiently repairing equipment, and minimising downtime. Driving continuous improvement in plant performance, with a focus on safety, maintenance, and reliability. Maintaining and adhering to policies, procedures, and safety standards while carrying out electrical and control engineering maintenance. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and thrives in an industrial or factory environment.
Key requirements include:
Level 3 Apprentice-trained Electrician and ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. 17th Edition BS7671 I.E.E Regulations (18th Edition preferred). Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred). Knowledge of PLC systems, AC Drives and Motors, and industrial low-voltage power systems. Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), pre-planned maintenance, and Root Cause Analysis techniques. Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus the ability to design and implement simple electrical systems. What's in It for You?
