Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person/Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be mechanically skilled and be able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
They should be able to resolve basic maintenance problems on their own and perhaps hire a specialist for more intensive repairs.
Maintenance skills and qualifications: Proven practical skills in areas such as carpentry, decorating, plumbing, repairs, electrical work and more Completing scheduled maintenance tasks Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing Liaising with the team to ensure that they complete projects on time Proven experience in maintenance roles is preferred Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues at all levels Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Knowledge of how common electrical and mechanical items work and how to repair them Driver skills and qualifications: Valid drivers licence with experience driving vans Good customer skills Making pick ups and deliveries Helping with loading and unloading vehicles Scheduling repairs, vehicle maintenance bookings Maintain a record of maintenance and repair tasks Being available for evenings and weekends If you are a proactive individual with a passion for maintenance and logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Schedule: Flexitime Monday to Friday Weekend availability Experience: Driving: 1 year (required) Maintenance: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person
