We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Co-ordinator to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our hotel facilities.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities: Technical Skills:  Proficiency in maintenance tasks - plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems (we will provide relevant training where necessary).
Safety First:  Prioritises safety to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.
Team Player:  Collaborates effectively and supports all hotel departments.
Guest Focus:  Committed to enhancing guest experiences through excellent facility maintenance.
Adaptability:  Can handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Day in the life of: As the Maintenance Co-ordinator, reporting to the Cluster Property Manager, you will take joint responsibility to ensure the hotel is maintained to a high standard and that the property is a safe environment for the guests and staff as per Health and Safety legislation.
You will need to be flexible to work shifts on bank holidays, evenings, weekends and any other holidays as requested.
Example key responsibilities: Responding to maintenance issues registered by team members Painting and decorating of public areas and guest bedrooms Fixing minor plumbing issues Fixing minor electrical issues Preventative maintenance for all the guest bedrooms, including auditing and reviewing Water checks as required Weekly fire alarm testing and checks Use of the internal H&S/Maintenance systems Monitoring the H&S and working order of all areas Keeping the immediate exterior of the hotel presentable, free from litter and in good working order Assisting the Cluster Property Manager with health and safety files and risk assessments Keeping the maintenance workshop clean, tidy and fully stocked Communicating with all the HOD's and supporting them with H&S issues What you'll get in return: Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle Exclusive Team Member discounted stays and 50% off F&B across the leaf HOSPITALITY portfolio Continuous learning & development opportunities  Free access to 24/7 employee assistance program  Team member of the month - £100 and Team member of the year - £500 Uniform Provided Competitive pay Additional annual leave and family leave This hotel is managed by leaf HOSPITALITY who is a hotel management company that has one simple value that underpins everything we do: be excellent.
