Role & Responsibilities The Maintenance Team Leader – Electrical, Control & Instrumentation will be responsible for the execution of all front line electrical, control system and instrumentation maintenance activities across all of the process, building and site systems that comprise the NESS Energy from Waste facility, in accordance with the operational requirements of the facility in order to drive compliance and ensure high levels of operational availability of the facility.
All works are executed in accordance with Indaver's Safe System of Work and the protection of people, plant and the environment are at the core of every activity. Provide visible leadership in all activities and ensure that all personnel carrying out maintenance activities within the facility are appropriately trained and competent to operate with the Indaver's Integrated Safe System of Work. Maintenance of the facility using best Indaver/Industry practices in compliance with all relevant environmental, legal, license and internal norms. Leading, developing and motivating the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Maintenance Technicians to deliver first class maintenance services across the facility. Participate in the recruitment, planning and management of maintenance team personnel in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager. Development of apprentices and succession planning within the team in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager. Proactive delivery of maintenance services to the facility. Coordination and execution of all preventive and predictive maintenance activities across the facility. Coordination and execution of planned and unplanned shutdown activities. Coordination and control of external maintenance support services. Coordination of maintenance activities within the facility with the Production Team to maximise operational availability and efficiency. Qualification and Experience required HNC/HND with significant experience gained in a maintenance, construction and/or engineering services environment. Lower qualifications will be considered when supported by significant directly applicable experience. Proven maintenance experience within a complex operational environment (Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Industrial Process). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, 2 of which should have incorporated leading small workgroups. Knowledge of Distributed Control System and PLC's would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided. Familiarity with High Voltage switching and control concepts would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided. Knowledge and experience of complex integrated plant and equipment commonly found within continuous process industries such as, power generation, cement industry and petrochemicals. Strong verbal and written communication. Building and maintaining relationships. Must be eligible to work in the UK as no visa sponsorship will be offered for this position.
