Essential criteria
Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
Member of special interest group Member of Professional Body
Experience
Essential criteria
Previous experience in a physical setting.
Experience of working in, or with, community care.
Evidence of personal and professional development Understanding of services available in the community Experience of working as part of an MDT Evidence of personal and professional development An understanding of common medical, and surgical conditions, care of the elderly, neurology, trauma and orthopaedics
Desirable criteria
Supervision of Junior staff and students Experience of community working
Skills
Essential criteria
Ability to manage own/team caseload Ability to function as an autonomous practitioner Ability to manage own caseload, record keeping and necessary paperwork Ability to complete tasks despite frequent interruptions Good time management skills Experience and commitment to multi-disciplinary working Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Desirable criteria
Understanding of quality issues Computer literate
