Macmillan Project Manager (Nutrition)

Macmillan Project Manager (Nutrition) Band 6 £39,912 - £48,635 per annum Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,349 37 hours per week Fixed Term Contract for 24 months NHS Western Isles have received funding from Macmillan to focus on service improvements around the Nutrition Pathway in Cancer.
This is a rare, and exciting opportunity for someone to focus on service scoping, pathway development, training and quality improvement work to make a real difference to the nutritional care of patients at all stages of their cancer journey.
The post is funded by Macmillan for 2 years and would be suited to a Registered Dietitian, Nurse or AHP with a passion for service and quality improvement in cancer care and a good knowledge and interest in nutrition.
The postholder will work with multidisciplinary health care teams, third sector organisations, patients and national groups to improve services and patient experiences across the Western Isles.
The postholder will be part of the Nutrition and Dietetic Department but will also work closely with the Macmillan Team.
