We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and pro-active individual to join our Decoration Department as a Machine Setter at our Castleford site.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up all automated and semi-automated printing machines.
Provide technical knowledge for printing jobs.
Maintain all printing machinery.
Provide assistance to the Chargehand to maintain the efficiency of the shift.
Provide customers with assistance on their specifications and give advice on artwork.
In conjunction with Decoration Manager and Decoration Specialist, sample all future jobs.
Oversee and advise the on shift back up setters.
This is a shift position, working a 3-crew shift pattern, working 12 hours, both days and nights between Monday and Friday.
This pattern provides an uplift for working a Friday night (once during the 3-week cycle) of time and a third.
Ideally applicants will possess a keen eye for detail, have the ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels, and possess a proactive and energetic approach to work as this is a hands-on role.
