Machine Operators – Permanent Role Hourly Rate: Based on experience Structured pay scale in place with the opportunity to move up the pay bands as experience is gained within the Company Working Hours : Possible 2 week rotation to include 15% shift allowance About The Role Key responsibilities: Operation of CNC machinery (fully automated edge banding production line) including inspections and quality checks Selecting pre-optimised programmes to suit all board types Selecting multiple thickness of edge tape Responsible for machine performance Following pre-scheduled workoad and meet deadlines Loading and offloading the machine Cutting MFC and MDF product Cleaning and inspection of finished product and maintaining appropriate records Skills Needed About The Company Founded by Brian McCloskey in 1987, Woodland has established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture.

Desired Criteria Engineering experience of HOMAG machinery Awareness of mechanical engineering principles previous experience of kitchen manufacturing basic computer programming skills Required Criteria CNC Machine Experience Minimum of 2 years experience working within a manufacturing environment Ability to understand instructions, job sheets, blueprints, drawings and diagrams Experience in total machine maintenance Ability to change tools Self adjustment of programmes Ability to complete required forms and paperwork Ability to perform tasks within health and safety guidelines Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment/adjust to change quickly Ability to work in a fast environment Attention to detail Working in a team with ability to use own initiative Ability to complete own quality checks Closing Date Wednesday 1st January, 2025
