Machine Operator

GR8 Connect are recruiting for Machine Operators for one of our prestige clients based in Slough.
GR8 Connect are looking for experienced machine operators in the slough area to join our client on a permanent contract working a shift rotation which will include mornings, evenings and nights.
About the Position * Working as part of the production team operating machinery as instructed by supervisor.
* Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner * Maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed.
* Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes.
* Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.
* Support and help in the cross-training of other team members.
* Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.
Essential Skills and Characteristics * Understanding of Quality Systems would be an advantage.
* Must have basic numeric and literacy skills to ensure accurate recording of data using set paperwork * Ability to handle heavy equipment.
* Be able to read, understand and follow production plans and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Basic computer knowledge.
This Job is on a rotating shift pattern, working 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 switching week on week.
Paid at £15.21 per hour or £29,660 per annum with overtime and bonuses paid separately.
Temp to Perm roles or straight permanent roles!
