Machine Operator

Kenect Recruitment is currently hiring for a CNC Machine Operator to join our client's team specialising in PET acoustic felt materials.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a permanent position.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 16:30 PM Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annual year Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery, including preparing and packing finished products for shipment.
Utilize AutoCAD or other computer design software to assist in production.
Interpret engineering drawings to produce high-quality components.
Ensure all production adheres to the company's quality standards and procedures.
Maintain production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Keep the work area safe and clean at all times.
Always comply with health and safety standards.
Undertake other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Skills and Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with CNC machines (experience with any material).
Familiarity with Zund CNC machines (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other 2D/3D design software.
Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Confident with measurements and basic math.
A forklift license is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
Comfortable with manual handling as part of daily tasks.
