We're sure you've tried our products because we supply food for the all the major supermarkets in the UK!Here at Wisbech, we have a team of 450 colleagues and manufacture premium chilled ready to cook meals for major retailers such as Asda and Co-op What you'll be doingMachine Operative - 4 on 4 off 07:00am-19:00pm £13.32 per hour.As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for setting up the machine for the production lines and ensuring due diligence is followed and have a right first-time approach.
As part of your role, you will be ensuring the team are working to their maximum potential as well as ensuring that the machinery is working consistently and correctly.
Duties of this role include:Operating the machines in line with related safety and quality proceduresResponsible for monitoring production to help attain KPIs for productivity and efficiency.Asses and report anomalies and issuesOrganize workflow on the line to support daily production targetsWork as part of a team to attain safety & performance KPI'sWilling to learn several machinery roles to be part of a multi-skilled teamThis role will entail minimum of 10KG lifting.What we're looking forPrevious experience working in a food factory working as a Machine OperativeGood level of English & MathsBasic understanding of Health & Safety and Food HygieneAbility to work unsupervised.If this sounds like you, join us and grow with Greencore, and be a part of driving our future success.At Greencore we put our people at the core.
