We are working with a leading technology-driven organisation, seeking a talented Machine Learning Algorithm Developer to join their advanced engineering team.
This role involves developing and evaluating cutting-edge algorithms across various domains, from autonomous decision-making to command and control (C2) systems.
Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience Location: Bristol or Stevenage (Relocation package may be available) Working Model: Predominantly on-site due to workload classification, with hybrid flexibility The opportunity: In this role, you'll play a key part in the development of intelligent systems for sophisticated products, with your algorithms at the heart of their design.
You'll be involved throughout the product lifecycle, contributing to research studies and developing algorithms for future innovations.
Key responsibilities include: Developing technical algorithms for critical programmes, conducting feasibility studies, trade-off analysis, trials, and reporting.
Engaging with algorithm users to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and tailored to project needs.
Collaborating in technical assessments and investigations, both independently and as part of a project team, to address and solve complex technical challenges.
What we're looking for: Degree/PhD in a relevant field or a degree with strong mathematical and programming skills.
Experience in robotics, data fusion, tracking/estimation, machine learning, deep learning, or pattern recognition is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in tools such as Matlab, Simulink, Python (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), or model-based design.
Specific expertise in areas such as autonomous decision-making, data fusion, machine learning for pattern recognition, and computer vision algorithms is highly desirable.
