\nWere on the look out for a fully qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join the team in our offices in Sutton.\nYoull be involved in a range of accounting tasks, reporting and analytical duties to support the on-going operations of the company.
You will mentor junior members of the finance team and act as a finance expert to stakeholders within finance, the wider business and external partners.
\nKey requirements for the role include clear communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work quickly along with accurately, excellent organisation skills and strong accounting knowledge.

\n \nThis role reports into the Financial Controller.\n \nWhat youll be doing: \n\n\n Maintaining and reviewing accounting reconciliations, providing financial data to budget-holders, helping to produce finance process documentation, other ad-hoc financial administration tasks as required.\n Month End Close: Post journals and ensure accurate reporting of any assigned business units as well as overheads.\n Provide commercial guidance and ensure accurate accounting for contracts within any assigned business units.
\n Responsible for accurate recording and posting of intercompany transactions and reconciling intercompany balances as a part of the month end process\n Providing answers to questions from suppliers, customers and employees regarding invoices, expenses and finance processes.
\n Continually evaluate existing processes and suggest improvements once opportunities identified.\n To support the budgeting & forecasting processes.
\n Act as Mentor providing support and guidance to junior team members.\n VAT return and Audit schedule preparation\n Any ad hoc tasks\n\nWhat we need from you: \n\n Fully Qualified Accountant with a recognised body such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA\n Excellent numerical, communication and organisational skills\n Understanding of key accounting and financial policies.
